I worked with Andy (Bill Anderson) and he was also a friend and dive partner.

We actually did very little spear fishing. There was just too much to see.

Phil free diving to about 60'.

Phil would dive to 60' - 80' and stay down there for 3 or 4  minutes just looking around.

I think the only time Phil had to breath was to change his buoyancy.

Some guy at the beach tried to shoot this fish with a $5.95 Okinawan spear gun and the spear just bounced off. Phil chased him down and caught him with his hands. We let the fish go after this shot.
